Vadi Efe is the partner and technology director of Turkey’s leading social media agency, Dekatlon Buzz. He is experienced in production and management of web based services.

His prior projects include ortakantin, a social network platform for college students (120.000+ members, major shares acquired by YouthRep AŞ in 2009) , istiyor.us! and okumasitesi (acquired by TİMAŞ in 2009); niche social networks both developed on the same framework but targeting different segments of users, with a total of 100.000 registered users.

Vadi Efe writes articles about social media marketing and new economy in different magazines & blogs (his own blog vadiefe.com, Digital Age Magazine, Webrazzi), as an author or a guest writer; and support international digital events for their PR in Turkey as a local blogger & author. (Some examples are Social Media World Forum London, Webit Sofia, Le Web Paris)

As a graduate of a german-turkish high school, İstanbul Erkek Lisesi and Boğaziçi Üniversitesi (BSc. Management Information Systems); he has also studied in RWTH Aachen at the Media Informatics masters program and specialized in international marketing & management at Berlin School of Economics as a guest for one year. He fluently speaks in German, English and Turkish.

Vadi Efe has been awarded as one of the best online entrepreneurs of Turkey in 2009. He has also won the Golden Spider Web Award of Turkey in 2009 with the localization project of sevenload, Europe’s award-winning media platform based in Germany.
